Meet Emma Zen, the DogOScope’s Caninecer the Cancer Dog of the Month.

Emma’s 3rd Birthday Party on June 21 was quite the celebration thanks to her mom and dad Jim and Debra Jo Chiapuzio. They rented a hall complete with parking, banquet room, 2 outdoor patios and a fenced in grass area as big as dog park. The puppy-razzi was even there! There were party boards, agility course, a stage for performing canine tricks, catered food for humans, dog pizza from OC Doggie Dinners and cake from 3 Dog Bakery. There was even a canine film festival and all the guests took home a doggie gift bag.

And Emma’s 3rd Birthday Party will also be featured in the Fall 2010 issue of The American Dog Magazine.

Caninecer (Cancer) is Latin for Crab and one of the thirteen constellations of the zodiac. The Sun appears in the constellation Cancer from July 21 to August 9.

Cancer is small and its stars are faint. Showing but few stars, and its brightest stars being of only 4th magnitude, Cancer was often considered the “Dark Sign,” quaintly described as black and without eyes. It lies between Gemini to the west and Leo to the east, Lynx to the north and Canis Minor and Hydra to the south.
